Charibelle Abad, the founder of Peak Performance, is a dynamic individual— a wife, mother, triathlete, and former corporate brand and digital marketer who found her passion in Pilates. Her story is one of resilience and transformation. Having grown up wearing a full upper body brace to correct severe spinal curvature and undergoing spinal surgery in 1996, Charibelle lived with the challenges posed by a spinal rod.
At 30, she chose to reclaim her physical well-being, not letting age or her spinal condition dictate her life. She embraced running and triathlons, even while pioneering sports marketing initiatives in her corporate career. After childbirth, Pilates became essential to her recovery and strength rehabilitation, especially following a C-section. Just thirteen months after her first child’s birth, she completed another Half Ironman, crediting her success to the strength and resilience she built through Pilates.
Driven by her belief in the transformative power of Pilates, Charibelle pursued formal training, enrolling in STOTT PILATES® courses and completing an intensive mentorship program at a leading Pilates studio in Singapore. She began teaching private and group classes while maintaining a part-time corporate role.
Today, Charibelle is committed to changing the way people view and practice Pilates. She sees it not as a trend or a series of acrobatic poses for social media, but as a life-enhancing discipline that improves daily living and athletic performance. At Peak Performance, she strives to inspire others to see Pilates as a pathway to holistic well-being and exceptional athletic achievement.
